Nancy Guthrie case: Three YouTubers face criminal charges after police allege one was ‘peeing in public behind a makeshift tent’
It has been more than four months since Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, vanished from her Arizona home, leaving investigators scrambling for answers. Now, as the high-profile search continues, three YouTubers who had been livestreaming from her neighborhood are facing criminal charges after authorities say they disrupted the area and repeatedly ignored law enforcement warnings.

On Monday, June 8, Alexander Zabel Jr., 54, who runs the YouTube channel CriminalNetwork, was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of a highway or thoroughfare and public nuisance. Troy Lewis Bradshaw, 34, the creator behind the channel DAA JUICE, was arrested on suspicion of public nuisance, reported tucson.com. While Damian Todd Enderle, 46, who runs 857 Tucson, was cited and released for public nuisance, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

A post published on the "DAA JUICE" X account early Tuesday said Bradshaw had since been released on bail. His arrest was also captured during one of Enderle's livestreams.

Authorities cite repeated neighborhood disturbances

According to a spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the agency had been dealing with complaints from residents for some time before making the arrests.

The spokesperson told Newsweek that authorities had "received numerous complaints about individuals blocking roadways, trespassing and disrupting the peace in the neighborhood.” Deputies first issued warnings, then posted no-trespassing signs, and then issued citations for violations. But some people kept ignoring the law despite all those efforts.

The spokesperson added: "After reviewing video evidence showing one of the arrestees urinating in public behind a makeshift tent, Sheriff Chris Nanos has directed deputies to take a stronger enforcement approach."

The ‘pee tent’ allegation

Court documents obtained by KOLD allege that Alexander Zabel Jr., the heavily tattooed host of a YouTube channel, set up a "pee tent" near Guthrie's home in the Catalina Foothills.

According to the outlet, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said deputies had been preparing to arrest a YouTuber they suspected had camped in a tent near the residence and had been seen dumping urine on a nearby property. Zabel, 54, was taken into custody hours later.

It quoted that one streamer caught "peeing in public behind a makeshift tent."

Authorities also allege that during a May 26 livestream, Zabel placed traffic cones on a community roadway while sitting in a lawn chair, an incident referenced in court documents.

Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping case continues to draw national attention

The arrests come as the search for Nancy Guthrie remains active. Guthrie disappeared on February 1, and investigators have said she was taken against her will. The Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI continue to investigate the case.

Security footage showing a masked man at the Guthrie home has been released publicly, drawing nationwide attention. Investigators have repeatedly said they are continuing to pursue leads and maintain that the investigation remains active.

Law enforcement officials have said that "the case has not gone cold." Meanwhile, Today show host Savannah Guthrie has announced a $1 million reward for information leading to the whereabouts of her missing mother.
