In a lengthy 482-word post on Truth Social, Trump lashed out at Carlson, Kelly, Owens, and Alex Jones, branding them 'low IQ' and dismissing their platforms as 'third-rate podcasts'. Trump directed some of his harshest criticism at Owens and Jones, both known for their conspiracy-leaning views and recent calls for his removal from office. While Trump had been under sustained criticism from all four media personalities, he had largely refrained from responding - until Thursday, when he forcefully broke his silence.
“They have one thing in common, Low IQs,” Trump said of the four media personalities. “They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too!”
"They’ve all been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some “free” and cheap publicity," Trump further wrote.
In the post, Trump argued that media outlets were giving disproportionate attention to remarks by Jones and Owens, claiming they were receiving “positive” coverage for what he described as the first time in their careers.
"MAGA is about MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and these people have no idea how to do that, BUT I DO, because THE UNITED STATES IS NOW THE “HOTTEST” COUNTRY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!" Trump signed off.
Trump also took aim at Marjorie Taylor Greene, the former Georgia congresswoman who was once among his strongest allies but later broke with him over foreign policy and his handling of matters tied to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In his remarks, Trump labeled Greene 'nasty' and mockingly referred to her as Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown.
