Gas Prices Today April 10: Check latest rates in California, Texas, Florida, New York and San Francisco
GAS Prices Today April 10, 2026: Gasoline prices across the United States are continuing to rise, leaving motorists feeling the strain at the pump as crude oil costs climb amid the ongoing conflict in Iran. Since the arrival of spring on March 20, fuel prices have trended upward steadily, driven by a combination of geopolitical tensions and seasonal increases in demand.

Analysts caution that any easing in prices may take time, meaning drivers could continue to face elevated fuel costs in the weeks ahead. The rise in crude oil has fed directly into retail gasoline prices.

Weekly gas prices across the United States continue to show sharp regional differences, with California and San Francisco reporting some of the highest averages among the listed locations. Prices on the West Coast remain significantly elevated across all fuel grades, reflecting the region’s consistently higher fuel costs.

By contrast, Texas continues to offer some of the lowest gasoline prices, making it the most affordable state in this comparison. Florida and New York fall in the middle range, with both states showing moderate pricing levels that are noticeably lower than California but higher than Texas.

Overall, the latest weekly averages from the US Energy Information Administration highlight how fuel costs vary widely depending on location, with premium grades commanding the highest prices in every market.
