Carjacking in Seattle on Christmas: Man pulls cop to ground, drives off in her car; what happened next will shock you

A shocking incident surfaced in Seattle on Christmas Day where a man stole a patrol car from a Washington State Patrol lieutenant. In the video of the incident, accessed by TMZ, the suspect was seen pushing the cop to the ground and fleeing in her car.

The footage obtained by the outlet depicted a man casually crossing a buzzing Interstate-5 in Seattle when a WSP patrol car showed up. The suspect stopped and rushed up to the driver-side door and pulled the cop out of the car with a jerk, pushing her to the freeway pavement. He was then quick to get behind the wheel and speed off.

Police chase the suspect

The incident was followed by an intense police pursuit, which came to an end after WSP officers pinned the car and took the guy into custody, according to TMZ.

Speaking to TMZ, Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said that the female lieutenant seen in the video did not sustain injuries, and she will not be reprimanded for the incident. The incident took place just before noon on Christmas Day.

In another incident, an elderly man in a golf cart was killed the evening of December 23, 2025, as he was trying to cross U.S. 92 east of Lakeland, according to The Ledger.

The crash occurred at around 7:15 p.m. at U.S. 92 and Schalamar Creek Drive. The Polk County Sheriff's Office said that the man, who lives in the Schalamar Creek subdivision, had crossed U.S. 92 in his black Club Car electric golf cart to go to a nearby store, The Ledger reported. As he crossed the highway while heading back home, he passed into the path of a 2008 Buick CXL traveling west in the inside lane.
