Camila Mendoza Olmos, a teenager from Texas, disappeared from her home on early Christmas Eve morning (December 24, 2025). According to authorities, she was last seen leaving her residence and carrying only her car keys. Her family believed that she was going on her regular walk. Olmos, 19, was last seen outside her San Antonio home just before 6:58 AM on Wednesday, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post later that day.

The teenager was seen wearing baby blue pajama shorts, a black hoodie, and white shoes and was seen on video outside the house apparently searching inside her car before the footage was cut off, the sheriff’s office Facebook post read.

It is believed that Olmos left the residence on foot, as her vehicle remained at the location. She never returned home, and her car remained at the house. The sheriff’s office further revealed that she only had her car keys and possibly her driver’s license.

Camila was sleeping with her mother, Rosario Olmos

Rosario Olmos, the mother of the missing teenager, said that she and her daughter were sleeping together in the morning when she felt Camila get up. Rosario further said she woke up about an hour and a half later only to find the house void of her daughter. Camila’s car, however, was still at the house. The teenager’s mother also called her daughter’s phone, only to find the device turned off in the bedroom.

“I called her cell phone, but the cell phone was there on the bed, and it was turned off,” Rosario Olmos said, as quoted by KENS 5. “I put it on charge and went out to look for her. I thought I would find her like other times, walking, and we would come home together,” she further stated.

She checked with Camila's boyfriend and her father, and after learning neither had seen her, Rosario reached out to the sheriff’s office to report her missing.

Rosario Olmos also searched around the neighborhood, believing that Camila was out on her regular walk, but couldn’t find her in the area. “I thought I would find her like other times, walking, and we would come home together,” the worried mother told KENS5.
