Bob Kevoian, co-founder of Bob and Tom Show, dies at 75

Bob Kevoian, the former co-host and co-founder of “The Bob & Tom Show," has died at the age of 75. The syndicated “The BOB & TOM Show” announced on social media that the radio legend passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon in his home, surrounded by friends and family. The social media post did not mention a cause of death in its announcement.


However, WXIN (channel 59), the Fox-affiliated television station in Indianapolis, reported that he died after battling cancer.


In 2023, Kevoian announced he had been diagnosed with gastric cancer and was going to begin to share his experiences with the diagnosis in a new podcast, “The Bob and Cancer Show.” As per their website, after being diagnosed with cancer, he started chemotherapy and radiation immediately.

“The Bob and Cancer Show” featured Kevoian’s wife, Becky Kevoian, and his best friend, Whit Grayson, as cohosts.

Kevoian is well-known for being a radio personality. Kevoian and Tom Griswold hosted the show together from 1983 until Kevoian's retirement at the end of 2015.
