Big Arch Burger taste test goes wrong: McDonald’s CEO mocked for hilariously viral ‘product’ review video
A promotional video of McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski tasting the new Big Arch burger has gone viral, sparking widespread mockery online. Social media users criticized his small bite, his description of the food as a "product," and his overall d...

However, attention quickly shifted from the burger itself to a video shared in early February by Chris Kempczinski, in which he is seen trying the new item on camera. In the clip, Kempczinski describes the burger and its ingredients before taking what many viewers described as a notably small bite.
“I love this product,” Kempczinski says in the video ahead of trying the burger. “It is so good. I'm gonna do a tasting right now but I'm gonna eat this for my lunch, just so you know.”
While intended as a promotional moment, the video drew teasing and parody across social media platforms. Many commenters questioned whether the CEO genuinely enjoyed the burger or even finished it. Several users fixated on his repeated use of the word “product” to describe the food. “It scares me when you call food 'product,'" one comment read.

The video also caught the attention of popular food reviewer Nigel Ng, better known as Uncle Roger, for his hardline take on asian cooking methods, who commented, “He acts like he’s never seen a burger before. Impressed by sesame seeds.”
Despite the online backlash, McDonald’s is pressing ahead with the rollout of the Big Arch burger. The company is promoting it as its “biggest and boldest burger, yet.” According to McDonald’s Menu Spotter page, the Big Arch Sauce is described as “a tangy, creamy sauce with a perfect balance of mustard, pickle and sweet tomato flavors.”
Whether the burger itself wins over customers remains to be seen, but the CEO’s taste test has already secured the Big Arch a place in viral internet culture, albeit not in the way McDonald’s may have intended.
