Following the performance, Hough, 41, addressed Cameron as “Dylan” while delivering his critique. “Dylan, you have this, like, Patrick Swayze aura about you, right,” the judge noted. “You’re cool, masculine, just effortless. It really is amazing, truly,” multiple US media quoted, including US Magazine.

The name mix-up quickly became one of the more awkward moments of the season premiere, particularly because Cameron is a familiar face to Bachelor Nation fans.

So, who was Hough referring to when he called Cameron “Dylan”? The likely answer is Dylan Efron, who competed on Dancing With the Stars during the previous season. Efron, the brother of actor Zac Efron, was among the celebrity contestants on the show last year.
