What is Toluene?
According to the National Institutes of Health, toluene is an inhaled solvent "voluntarily used by adolescents and adults for their euphorigenic effects." Voluntary inhalation of organic solvents, such as toluene, is particularly prevalent in adolescent populations and is considered to be a contributing factor to substance use and dependence later in life, NIH said.
According to TMZ, the case stems from an alleged incident from May 14, 2025, in Santa Cruz, and was still active at the time of her death. Victoria was set to attend a pretrial conference scheduled for January 27.
Victoria was arrested twice in 2025
On April 28, 2025, Victoria was taken into custody in California’s Napa County and charged with three misdemeanors: obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription. She pleaded not guilty.
In June 2025, Victoria was detained again in Napa County and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. She entered a not guilty plea on July 1, 2025.
Victoria's family issued a statement on her death on Friday (January 2, 2025) that read ... "We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."
