The 2026 Tony Awards honored the best of Broadway on Sunday night. From acclaimed new works to ambitious revivals, this year's ceremony recognized the artists who helped shape a memorable year on Broadway. The evening's top honors went to Liberation, which captured Best Play, while The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon! and more were nominees in the Best Musical category.

Several of the theater world's most respected performers were among the night's major winners. John Lithgow earned Best Leading Actor in a Play for Giant, while Laurie Metcalf was recognized for her featured performance in Death of a Salesman.

Productions including Schmigadoon!, Ragtime, The Lost Boys and Cats: The Jellicle Ball collected multiple awards across acting, directing, design and technical categories.
