Timothée Chalamet acknowledged his relationship with Kylie Jenner in a rare and emotional moment at the Critics Choice Awards, telling her, “I love you” from the awards podium, and the reality star’s reaction quickly caught viewers’ attention. The Marty Supreme actor, 30, surprised audiences on Sunday, January 4, when he thanked Jenner during his Best Actor acceptance speech, marking the first time he has openly spoken about their relationship at a major public event.

“Lastly, I'll just say, thank you to my partner of three years, thank you for our foundation,” Chalamet said as cameras panned to Jenner, 28, seated among the filmmakers and cast. “I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Jenner gave him a warm smile and mouthed what appeared to be "I love you" as the camera focused on her.

Timothée Chalamet Kylie Jenner's relationship

While Chalamet and Jenner have made several red carpet appearances together, the couple have largely kept their relationship private. Just two months ago, Chalamet made it clear he would not be discussing it publicly. “I don’t say that with any fear,” he told Vogue. “I just don’t have anything to say.”

Despite their low-key approach, the couple has already marked notable milestones in the new year. Chalamet recently left a flirty comment on Jenner’s Instagram, posting orange heart emojis under a photo of her wearing a sparkling orange gown during a date night at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 3.

The following day, the pair attended the Critics Choice Awards, where Chalamet was nominated alongside Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Joel Edgerton (Train Dreams), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Michael B. Jordan (Sinners), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent).

Jenner, who shares two children, Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, with former partner Travis Scott, has not spoken publicly about the moment, but her on-camera reaction added a rare glimpse into the couple’s relationship.
