Taylor Swift won seven awards at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026, including Artist of the Year for the third consecutive time, extending her record as the most-awarded artist in the show’s history. The singer picked up trophies for Pop Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for The Life of a Showgirl, Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” and Best Tour Style, bringing her career total to 41 wins.

But while her sweep dominated the night, the 36-year-old singeralso became a talking point for another reason, her pale green outfit, which sparked fan theories that it may hint at her next album. Swift wore a custom Wiederhoeft look, a pale green corset top paired with a miniskirt and Jimmy Choo shoes, along with minimal makeup and notably skipping her signature red lip. The green mini dress dripping with beads immediately caught fans’ attention.

Swift is not new to teasing her outfit to give clues about her next moves, and tonight multiple fans are speculating that the star’s iHeartRadio Music Awards look is one big clue, teasing that her next album would be a re-recording of her debut album of 2006 ‘Taylor Swift.' The color of the corset and skirt, as well as Swift’s more minimal makeup and hair styling, seems to pay homage to the Taylor Swift cover, summarizes Elle, in line with fans' speculation.

Swift re-recorded her early albums to regain masters after a 2019 dispute, releasing Taylor's Versions of Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and 1989 (Taylor's Version). By May 2025, she bought back originals for her first six albums, including the debut and Reputation, but confirmed she'd fully re-recorded the self-titled one and loved its sound.

Swift was up for nine awards, including Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Favorite TikTok Dance, Best Lyrics, Best Music Video for “Fate of Ophelia,” Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, and Favorite On Screen for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The End of an Era and Favorite Tour Style.

The evening also marked Swift’s first awards show appearance of 2026 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and her first awards show outing with fiancé Travis Kelce as a couple. During her award acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude, saying, “I think that this album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who’s here tonight.”

From the crowd, Kelce clapped and mouthed, “I love you," to the ‘Shake It Off’ singer on the stage.

Although they did not walk the red carpet side by side, the NFL star sat with Swift in the audience, where the pair posed for photos and shared subtle public displays of affection. Cameras captured Kelce accompanying Swift as she greeted fellow musicians.
