Things got worse a few days later with pain still in his neck and his back. Quinton lost feeling in his legs when he was walking up the stairs.

Quinton's wife further said that she rushed to his side and helped him up the stairs. After he lay down, she called 911. The actor was slipping in and out of consciousness on his way to the hospital. Upon his arrival at the hospital, doctors recommended life support.

Calling her husband “a fighter,” Margarita said, "He's showing a lot of improvement. We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered."

As he fights for his life, his family is facing an immense emotional and financial burden—including mounting medical-related expenses, ongoing living costs, and the uncertainty of how long this road to recovery may be,” Quinton’s GoFundMe page read.

“When someone is this critically ill, life doesn’t pause. Bills don’t stop. Expenses continue to pile up. And no family should have to choose between focusing on their loved one’s survival and worrying about how they will make it through financially. That’s why we are asking for help,” it added.
