Speaking to TMZ, Margarita, Quinton's wife, said that the medical devices that were helping in keeping him alive aren't doing all the work, and he's partially breathing on his own.
TMZ learned that Quinton, who is currently on life support, has been hospitalized for four days now. In a ray of hope for the family, Quinton is showing more signs of improvement with each passing day. His wife has said that he has a blood infection, and doctors are still running a series of tests to identify the source of the issue.

Margarita, who is a registered nurse, told TMZ that Quinton, her husband, woke up one morning feeling sore. Initially she thought that it was from a bad sleep. Things got worse a few days later with pain still in his neck and his back. Quinton lost feeling in his legs when he was walking up the stairs.
Quinton's wife further said that she rushed to his side and helped him up the stairs. After he lay down, she called 911. The actor was slipping in and out of consciousness on his way to the hospital. Upon his arrival at the hospital, doctors recommended life support.
Quinton Aaron: Family raises money through GoFundMe
Quinton’s family has created a GoFundMe page seeking financial help for the actor’s treatment. The GoFundMe has so far raised $36,222, exceeding its $35,000 target. Alcon Entertainment was the top donor with $10,000.
“Quinton is currently hospitalized and on life support due to a severe blood infection. This has been sudden, frightening, and overwhelming for his loved ones. As he fights for his life, his family is facing an immense emotional and financial burden—including mounting medical-related expenses, ongoing living costs, and the uncertainty of how long this road to recovery may be,” Quinton’s GoFundMe page read.
“When someone is this critically ill, life doesn’t pause. Bills don’t stop. Expenses continue to pile up. And no family should have to choose between focusing on their loved one’s survival and worrying about how they will make it through financially. That’s why we are asking for help,” it added.
