The studio audience for a special Friday night episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon received an unexpected payday after YouTube star MrBeast made his debut on the program. MrBeast, who has a massive 466 Million folllowers and whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, teamed up with snack brand Jack Link’s to give $1,000 to every audience member in Studio 6B during the taping.

The giveaway unfolded during a game of “Box of Lies,” a recurring Tonight Show segment in which Fallon and his guests attempt to bluff one another about the contents of sealed boxes.

In the video shared on The Tonight Show’s X page, Fallon challenged Donaldson to the game, with the audience set to receive a prize each time one of them correctly identified whether the other was telling the truth. In the third round, Donaldson dramatically raised the stakes, announcing that a correct guess would result in every audience member receiving $1,000.

The moment proved to be on brand for the YouTube creator, whose videos are known for featuring massive cash prizes, luxury vehicles, and large-scale giveaways. Fallon ultimately guessed correctly during the round, triggering cheers from the crowd and confirming the payout. In total, the 250 people walked away with nearly $250,000.

The episode aired as part of a rare Friday night broadcast of The Tonight Show, following NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony.
