Meghan Markle’s new family photos reveal Princess Lilibet’s Beyoncé fandom with $48 T-shirt featuring a 10-year-old’s artwork

Meghan Markle has offered fans another glimpse into her family life, and one detail from her latest Instagram post is drawing particular attention, a playful tribute to global music icon Beyoncé. In a new carousel of family photographs shared Tuesday, June 9, the Duchess of Sussex included an image of 5-year-old Princess Lilibet wearing a white T-shirt featuring an illustration of Beyoncé with the words “B is for Beyonce.” In the drawing, the 35-time Grammy-winning singer is shown wearing oversized hoop earrings that read “Queen Bey.”

The shirt is sold by the National Women’s History Museum and retails for $48. According to the product description, the portrait of Beyoncé was created by a 10-year-old child named Pearl, while the T-shirt itself was designed by a mother-daughter team in the United States.

The Beyoncé-inspired outfit appeared as part of a larger collection of personal family snapshots posted by Markle. She captioned the carousel simply: “Springing into summer.”

Alongside the image of Lilibet, the post featured several intimate moments from the Sussex family’s life. One photograph showed Prince Harry playing with the couple’s son, Prince Archie, using an oversized soccer ball, while another captured a basket filled with fresh fruits and vegetables placed beside jars of Meghan’s As ever jam.

The collection also included scenic nature shots and a handwritten note reading “the one and only,” and concluded with a black-and-white throwback photograph of Meghan and Prince Harry from 2017.

Markle and Beyoncé, who are both 44, have publicly expressed their admiration for each other over the years. In May 2025, Meghan and Prince Harry attended the singer’s Cowboy Carter Tour stop at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and later shared photos from the outing.

“About last night…. Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love,” Meghan wrote at the time, alongside images and videos of the couple enjoying the performance together.
