The upcoming television anime adaptation of Marriage Toxin is officially scheduled to debut on April 7, marking a major milestone for the popular manga series and its growing global fanbase. The announcement confirms that the action-romance title from Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform will soon transition from page to screen with a full production team, voice cast, and broadcast plans now revealed.

According to Anime News Network, the Marriage Toxin TV anime will air on Tuesdays on Kansai TV and Fuji TV's new Tuesday night programming block, titled "Ka-Anival!!". The release date positions the show within the competitive spring anime season, typically one of the industry’s busiest periods for new launches and high-profile adaptations.

The anime is produced by Bones Film, a studio branch of the well-known animation company Bones, signaling strong production backing and industry experience behind the project.

Marriage Toxin is based on the manga created by writer Jōmyaku and artist Mizuki Yoda, serialized on Shonen Jump+. The series blends action, comedy and romance with an unusual premise: a young assassin from a long-running clan is forced to find a marriage partner to preserve his family line. His unlikely guide becomes a professional marriage swindler, launching a high-stakes and comedic search for love.

The anime adaptation features an experienced creative staff. Motonobu Hori serves as director, while Kimiko Ueno handles series composition and scripts. Character design and chief animation direction are led by Kohei Tokuoka, and the music is composed by Taisei Iwasaki and Yuma Yamaguchi.

This lineup combines talent with prior work across action, drama and character-driven series, indicating a production designed to balance spectacle with emotional storytelling.

The central characters will be voiced by Haruki Ishiya as Hikaru Gero and Shion Wakayama as Mei Kinosaki.

The Marriage Toxin anime reflects a broader trend of Shonen Jump+ digital manga receiving anime adaptations.

The combination of a distinctive premise, established studio backing, and a spring-season launch suggests Marriage Toxin will be closely watched by anime fans when it arrives later this year.
