‘Another Ozzy Osbourne!’ Fans cheer as Jack Osbourne names baby daughter after late father

Reality TV personality Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Osbourne, have announced the birth of their daughter, revealing a name that honors Jack’s late father, legendary rock singer Ozzy Osbourne. In a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, March 11 the couple shared a black-and-white video of their newborn alongside a card stating she was born on March 5, 2026, weighing 7 pounds and 12 ounces.

In the caption, they introduced their daughter to the world, writing, "Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne.”

Fans react to Ozzy-inspired name

Fans quickly flooded the comment section with messages celebrating the name and the tribute to the late Black Sabbath frontman. One fan wrote, “Yay, we have another Ozzy Osbourne! The world is right again.”

Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne after his death

The baby’s arrival comes nearly eight months after the death of Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76 from a heart attack, after suffering from coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s.

Following his father’s death, Jack shared an emotional tribute on Instagram last August, remembering the personal bond they shared.

“He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him ‘Dad,’” Jack wrote. “My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing.”

Growing Osbourne family

Baby Ozzy Matilda Osbourne is the second child for Jack and Aree. Their first daughter, Maple Artemis Osbourne, was born on July 9, 2022.

Jack is also a father to three daughters, Pearl Clementine Osbourne, 13; Andy Rose Osbourne, 10; and Minnie Theodora Osbourne, 7, from his previous marriage to Lisa Stelly. Pearl and Andy were also recently photographed alongside their father at an afterparty for the 2026 Grammy Awards in February.
