Donald Gibb’s cause of death
While Donald Gibb’s cause of death was not officially disclosed, his son said the actor died following health complications at his home in Texas while surrounded by family. The outlet also reported that Donald Gibb’s death was not sudden, as he had reportedly been battling unspecified health issues for some time.
Born Donald Richard Gibb on August 4, 1954, in New York City, the actor began his Hollywood career with an uncredited appearance as a henchman in Any Which Way You Can starring Clint Eastwood.
He later appeared in several other high-profile productions in small, uncredited roles, including as a bouncer in Stripes starring Bill Murray and in Conan the Barbarian alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Max von Sydow.
