Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 adds Tanjiro Infinity Castle DLC on February 13, 2026

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is expanding its playable roster with Tanjiro Kamado in his Infinity Castle form, set to launch as downloadable content (DLC) on February 13, 2026. According to Hypebeast, the new character marks the fourth paid release in the “Infinity Castle Part 1 Character Pass,” which features fighters drawn from the high-stakes battles depicted in the first Infinity Castle film.

Tanjiro follows earlier DLC additions, including Kaigaku, as well as Infinity Castle versions of Zenitsu and Akaza, as part of the game’s ongoing post-launch updates aimed at bringing the anime’s cinematic intensity into VS Mode.

New abilities and future expansions teased

The Infinity Castle version of Tanjiro introduces new fiery sword techniques and a distinctive armor set, both highlighted in the official trailer. The update also hints at future expansions planned for later in 2026, including the addition of Giyu Tomioka, signaling continued support for the game and further adaptations of key anime story arcs.

Players will be able to purchase the new fighter individually through the Tanjiro Kamado (Infinity Castle) Character Pack or access it as part of the Infinity Castle – Part 1 Character Pass, which bundles multiple fighters.

Platforms and character pass details

The DLC will be available across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, continuing the game’s multi-platform release strategy.

As reported by Crunchyroll, the Infinity Castle – Part 1 Character Pass includes the following characters:

• Giyu Tomioka (Infinity Castle)
