D4vd Celeste Rivas death investigation.
In a fresh jolt to singer D4vd, who is facing the heat amid Celeste Rivas's death investigation, Electronic Arts (EA), one of the biggest sports video game franchises in the world, is apparently trying to distance itself from the singer due to his alleged connection with the case. According to TMZ, the video game company has quietly pulled his song from "Madden NFL 26."

D4vd's "What Are You Waiting For" was initially part of the popular football game's soundtrack when it was released back in August 2025 and was positioned between BIA and Alex Warren on the playlist. The song is now nowhere to be found. The exact reason behind the move is not clear yet.

Celeste Rivas's death investigation

The case came to light in September 2025 after the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas was found in D4vd's impounded car.

The dead body was found inside a Tesla that was towed to an impound lot after it was found abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, TMZ reported. Later it was discovered that the car belonged to the singer.

TMZ’s law enforcement sources revealed in November 2025 that LAPD is treating the singer as a suspect in Rivas' death. As of now, there is no paperwork classifying him as a suspect, but one of TMZ's sources said, "Investigators are looking at D4vd as a suspect."
