Amanda Bynes is stepping into a new creative phase with the release of her debut EDM-rap track 'Girlfriend'. The former Nickelodeon star surprised fans by showcasing a bold new sound along with a striking transformation. Bynes debuted a fresh brunette hairstyle and appeared noticeably slimmer after a reported 30-pound weight loss. The track marks a significant shift from her acting career, signaling a fresh start and renewed focus on music as she reconnects with audiences in a different way.

According to Art Threat, Bynes released her debut music track across major streaming platforms after a noticeable personal transformation and a fresh partnership with Create Music Group. The single includes collaborations with Zabba and Fenix Flexin, according to multiple media reports, marking her official step into the music world after years away from the spotlight.

The release comes after a four-year break from public life and signals a clear shift from her earlier acting career, including her time on 'The Amanda Show'. To support this transition, Bynes secured a recording deal with Create Music Group, setting the stage for her entry into the music industry.

In recent months, Bynes has also been open about her personal transformation. She revealed losing close to 30 pounds with the help of the GLP-1 medication Ozempic. Starting at around 173 pounds last year, she has worked toward a current weight near 151 pounds and has shared plans to continue focusing on her fitness journey.

Adding to the change, Bynes recently moved away from her signature blonde look, opting instead for a bold dark brunette hairstyle. The dramatic makeover, combined with her physical transformation, has given her a refreshed and confident new appearance - something she has described as part of a broader personal reset.
