Actor Awards 2026: 'Sinners' wins Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture - Check full list of winners category-wise

Sinners emerged as the biggest winner at the newly rechristened Actor Awards - formerly the SAG Awards - on Sunday night, giving the film a major boost as the Oscars race enters its final stretch. The film, directed by Ryan Coogler, is a bold vampire fable that explores America’s complex racial history and captured the prestigious award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. 'Sinners' edged out fellow awards-season contender One Battle After Another, along with other nominees including Frankenstein, Hamnet, and Marty Supreme.

Michael B. Jordan captured the statue for lead actor for his duel role in in the film, snapping 'One Battle After Another’s' award season winning streak. In TV, 'The Studio' continued its dominance among comedies, winning for ensemble, performance by a male actor, Seth Rogen, and performance by a female actor, the late Catherine O’Hara.



The 32nd edition of the ceremony was held at the iconic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and honored performances voted on exclusively by fellow actors. Hosted by Kristen Bell and streamed live on Netflix, the evening featured emotional tributes alongside standout wins across both film and television, further shaping the narrative heading into Oscar night.


Woody Harrelson presented the prestigious Life Achievement Award to Harrison Ford at the 2026 Actor Awards, marking one of the evening’s most memorable moments. The ceremony opened with its signature 'I am an actor' segment, featuring appearances by Teyana Taylor, Michael J. Fox, and several other stars, setting an emotional and celebratory tone for the night.
