Wissen Technology appoints Bobby Gilja as vice chairman

Technology solutions provider Wissen Technology on Tuesday said it has appointed Bobby Gilja to its board in the capacity of vice-chairman.

With over 35 years of experience at investment bank Morgan Stanley (MS), Gilja held senior executive positions including CIO of Corporate and Funding technology and CIO of Cloud and Architecture. He led the execution of numerous initiatives across Operations, Finance, Risk, Prime Brokerage, Fund Administration, Treasury and Secured Funding platforms.

In his role at Wissen Technology, Gilja will play a pivotal role in guiding the company's strategic initiatives, with a focus on expanding the company's technological offerings, fostering collaboration with global partners, and enhancing customer experiences.


"I have been speaking informally as an advisor to partners at Wissen Technology for a few years and some of the directors used to be part of my group at MS," Gilja said in a statement. “Wissen Technology is at the right size, and we can grow 5X, not just in the number of employees but in terms of how many customers we delight," Gilja said in a statement.
