Whatsapp, Instagram, and Facebook down globally

WhatsApp users faced disruption on Wednesday night, with many taking to X to voice their concerns about the outage. Meta's Facebook was also down for more than 50,000 users, while Instagram experienced issues affecting over 23,000 users, according to the outage tracking website Downdetector.com.


Some Facebook and Instagram users posted on rival platform X that they were facing an error that said "something went wrong".



Meta said it is aware of a technical issue impacting users' ability to access its apps.

"We're working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience," it said in a post on social media platform X.


Hundreds of thousands of Facebook and Instagram users were impacted globally for more than two hours earlier this year.

WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram are back online after experiencing a "technical issue", their owner Meta has said.
