World leaders from 20 nations including France, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Switzerland, and Spain, among others will attend the summit, while government delegations from 100 countries will hold talks. A series of bilateral meetings are scheduled to be held on the sidelines.
With 2.5 lakh registrations so far, the event is set to be the largest gathering focussed on AI globally so far. To ease the experience for visitors, a number of tech solutions are being deployed, officials said. Digiyatra will be made available for entry into the summit, while the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is providing an app for overseas visitors to make local payments.
In a novel move, quick commerce players Zepto and Swiggy will be providing delivery services within the Pragati Maidan exhibition complex, by setting up dark stores within the premises.
Apollo hospitals is providing health services within the premises, and will set up medical beds to alleviate potential emergencies.
The Summit will be a zero waste summit, utilising construction material from a previous event held at the premises, officials said.
