According to outage monitoring site Downdetector, around 7 pm local time, user reports in India stood at approximately 30. In contrast, the United States recorded a significant rise in complaints, with around 400 reports logged at the same time.
In the US, 49% of affected users reported issues with the website, 41% experienced problems with the mobile app, and 10% cited server connection difficulties. In India, 53% of users reported server connectivity problems, followed by 29% facing login issues and 18% encountering app-related disruptions.
The company has yet to release an official explanation for the cause of this latest outage.
Just days earlier, on Saturday, X experienced a far more severe disruption. Reports peaked at over 2,000 in India and soared past 26,000 in the United States.
At the time, the platform’s engineering team had commented: “We’re still experiencing issues from yesterday’s data centre outage. Login and signup services are unavailable for some users, and there may be delays in notifications and Premium features.”
