The Tesla, and now Twitter, CEO tweeted saying ‘Power to the people! Blue for $8/month
This means everyone who has a verified profile will have to cough up $8 to avail that feature on Twitter.

If a paid Blue account engages in spam/scam, that account will be suspended. Essentially, this raises the cost of crime on Twitter by several orders of magnitude.”

He has been deliberating and discussing with tweeple about how much he should charge for the Twitter Blue subscription, a perk of which is access to editing tweets.
Earlier today, Musk replied to a tweet from author Stephen King who had expressed his unwillingness to pay $20/month for Twitter Blue privileges.
