Temasek offloads 2% stake in Lenskart for Rs 1,945 crore

The sale was done on July 10 through open market transactions, taking Temasek's stake in Lenskart down to 4.75% from 6.8% earlier. On July 10, Lenskart's stock closed at Rs 543.65 on the National Stock Exchange.

Singapore's sovereign wealth fund Temasek has sold a 2% stake in eyewear retailer Lenskart for approximately Rs 1,945 crore, according to regulatory filings made with the stock exchanges on Tuesday.

The sale was done on July 10 through open market transactions, taking Temasek's stake in Lenskart down to 4.75% from 6.8% earlier. On July 10, Lenskart's stock closed at Rs 543.65 on the National Stock Exchange.

Temasek's stock sale in the Gurugram-based company comes just a month after Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and Japanese investor SoftBank also sold Lenskart's shares. While ADIA offloaded shares worth Rs 1,944 crore, SoftBank had realised Rs 2,873 crore from its block deal.


Lenskart had listed in November 2025 and its six-month IPO lock-in expired on May 8.
