The company said in a release that the data centre has been developed in partnership with RailTel Corporation of
India, a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, that provides telecom and digital infrastructure services across India through its nationwide fibre network. The facility is now fully operational and built to rated-3 infrastructure standards.
The data centre is aimed at enterprises requiring low-latency infrastructure for financial trading, fintech and AI workloads, real-time enterprise platforms, etc.
According to the company, the facility offers latency of less than 150 microseconds from Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in Nariman Point, and less than 250 microseconds from National Stock Exchange (NSE) in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), addressing the need for infrastructure that’s closer to Mumbai’s financial hubs.
Located near business districts like BKC, Nariman Point, Worli, Lower Parel, Mahalaxmi, and Fort, the data centre is connected to RailTel’s fibre network spanning more than 63,000 km.
“Infrastructure requirements are increasingly being shaped by proximity and performance as enterprises adopt
real-time digital applications and AI-led workloads,” said Ankit Saraiya, director and chief executive of Techno Digital.
Techno Digital leverages the engineering and execution capabilities of parent firm TEECL, which has over four decades of experience in power infrastructure.
