TCS expands strategic partnership with Google Cloud

India’s largest IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Thursday said it is expanding its strategic partnership with Google Cloud by building experience centres for customers to evaluate cloud solutions, apart from co-developing new solutions that provide digital consumer experiences in retail, manufacturing and financial services.

The partnership will see TCS setting up Google Garages within its innovation hubs in New York, Tokyo and Amsterdam that will enable enterprises to evaluate cloud solutions, prototype and develop applications and apply analytics and artificial intelligence to address business opportunities.

“Our expanded strategic partnership and the new Google Garages at TCS Pace Ports will help us empower enterprises with the vital capabilities needed to embrace cloud for purpose-led, sustainable growth,” said Krishnan Ramanujam, Business Group Head, Business and Technology Services at TCS.


TCS also said that the garages will showcase its portfolio of products and platforms available on Google Cloud such as its core banking platform BaNCS, merchandising and supply chain optimisation platform Optumera and WaferWise, its platform for semiconductor manufacturers to detect anomalies.

The IT services giant is a Google Cloud partner and provides end-to-end services in the areas of cloud migration, application and data modernization, managed services, SAP on cloud and digital transformation, apart from some industry-specific solutions.
