Tata Consultancy Services has received a Rs 2,903.22 crore order from BSNL for 4G network deployment, involving planning, installation, and maintenance of 18,685 sites. This follows TCS and C-DOT securing a Rs 15,000 crore deal in May 2023 for BSN...

TCS will be responsible for planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and annual maintenance of 18,685 4G network sites, it said.
Tejas Networks will supply Radio Access Network (RAN) and other equipment to TCS worth approximately Rs 525.53 crore, the company said in a separate statement.
The Tata Group's IT services arm, along with the government's Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), won the Rs 15,000 crore mega deal from BSNL in May 2023 as part of the telco's 4G expansion plan with an end-to-end indigenous stack and without dependence on global providers like Ericsson, Nokia or Huawei. The initial deal timeline was 24 months and set to expire this month.
The BSNL deal was a major booster for the IT major's growth in the India region as well as strengthening overall topline.
