Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Google Cloud have launched a Gemini Experience Center in Kolkata to help consumer businesses develop and deploy agentic artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, according to a BSE filing.

The Kolkata facility is TCS’ eighth Gemini Experience Center globally and its third in India, following centres focused on retail in Chennai and banking and financial services in Bengaluru. The company plans to expand the network to ten centres worldwide, including four in India, by the end of 2026.

The centre will allow enterprises across retail, consumer packaged goods and travel, tourism and hospitality to co-create and scale AI applications built using Google’s Gemini models. It will also offer live demonstrations and co-innovation workshops aimed at speeding up enterprise adoption of agentic AI.

According to the filing, the facility will showcase AI-powered solutions for store operations, supply chain management, omnichannel retail and customer service.

TCS said it has built 3,000 industry-aware AI agents with Gemini Enterprise that can be integrated into customer environments across sectors, including retail, consumer goods, travel and hospitality.
