Tarun Nandwani appointed CEO of Newgen Software
Newgen Software Technologies has appointed Tarun Nandwani as its new CEO for an 18-month term starting August 1, 2026, succeeding Virender Jeet. Nandwani, with 33 years at the company and currently COO, is credited with driving significant growth....

Nandwani, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer, will take over the top post for an 18-month term effective August 1, 2026, up to January 31, 2028.
He succeeds Virender Jeet, who tendered his resignation last month citing "personal and professional reasons".
According to a regulatory filing by the company, Jeet will continue in his role until August 31, 2026.
Nandwani has been associated with Newgen for 33 years.
"As Chief Operating Officer, Tarun has helped drive the strongest growth periods in Newgen's history, contributing to significant expansion in revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, and market presence.
"Under his leadership, Newgen strengthened its global footprint, expanded strategic product portfolios, deepened customer relationships, and enhanced execution capabilities across the organisation," Newgen said.
The company's board has also approved a broader leadership restructuring.
Pramod Kumar, currently the Vice President of Sales at the company's Singapore subsidiary, has been appointed as the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), effective August 1, 2026.
Both Nandwani and Kumar have been designated as Key Managerial Personnel (KMP).
Additionally, Newgen co-founder and Whole-time Director T S Varadarajan will take the position of Vice Chairman with immediate effect. He will hold this designation in addition to his existing role, the company stated.
