Bengaluru-based Swiggy said that its 10-minute food delivery service Bolt, which it launched in October, now accounts for 5% to its overall food deliveries. On Monday, the company had announced it was expanding the service to over 400 cities across India.

For Swiggy, the expansion marked a major scaleup of an experiment it launched a few months ago to boost growth in its food delivery segment -- which accounts for two-thirds of its gross order value (GOV).
