Swiggy Instamart ties up with Reliance to deliver Jio phones in minutes

Swiggy Instamart has tied up with Reliance Jio to deliver Jio mobile phones in 10 minutes across 95 cities in India. Budget handsets JioBharat V4 and JioPhone Prima 2 by Reliance will be available on the quick commerce platform.

Jio Bharat V4, a 4G feature phone priced at Rs 799, supports UPI payments via JioPay, offers access to over 455 live TV channels, including live sports, and has a 1000mAh battery. It is designed for first-time users seeking basic digital connectivity.

JioPhone Prima 2 is slightly pricier, at Rs 2,799, with advanced features such as YouTube, Facebook, Google Voice Assistant, and JioTV. It has 512MB RAM, a 2000mAh battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The device supports 23 Indian languages.


Instamart has expanded to over 120 cities, delivering groceries and daily essentials within 10 minutes. Like other rapid-delivery platforms, it also delivers electronics, toys, skincare and wellness products.

The company's peers, including Zepto, Blinkit and BigBasket, started delivering iPhones within minutes in multiple cities when the 16 series was launched.
