SpaceX officially confirms Nasdaq listing date

SpaceX is set to make history with the largest initial public offering ever, commencing trading on the Nasdaq exchange on Friday.

Elon Musk's SpaceX on Thursday confirmed it will begin trading its shares on the Nasdaq exchange on Friday, in what is set to be the biggest initial public offering in history.

In a filing with the US markets regulator, the company priced more than 555 million shares at $135 each, placing SpaceX among Wall Street's most elite companies with a valuation of just under $1.8 trillion.
