Snapchat down, thousands of users report problems logging in

Photo messaging app Snapchat reported an outage on Friday, with several users unable to log in to their accounts, and many others citing connectivity issues.

As per Downdetector, nearly 50,000 users reported issues with the app. Of these, nearly 60% were logged out of their accounts and 21% reported errors in server connection.

Snapchat has not yet addressed the outage, and the cause remains unclear.
