Singapore-based data centre developer DayOne said on Wednesday its total billings exceeded 1 gigawatt (GW), a day after financing for its expansion in Malaysia was increased to $7.2 billion.

DayOne said its total billings - its income-generating customer contracts for IT power capacity - surpassed 1GW, an eightfold jump in under two years, from 121 MW at the end of 2024.

Its bookings increased to 2.3GW as of September 20, up from 1.25GW at the end of 2025.

DayOne on Tuesday secured an additional 15 billion ringgit ($3.68 billion) in financing from a consortium of seven banks, bringing the total to $7.2 billion to fund the expansion of hyperscale data centre capacity in Johor, Malaysia's key data centre destination.

The Singapore-headquartered global digital infrastructure platform that develops and operates data centers has its presence across ten markets in Asia Pacific and Europe.
