Vembu took to microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) to share a photograph of him with the Governor going around the campus in an electric auto rickshaw.

Vembu took to microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) to share a photograph of him with the Governor in the auto. "Our Honorable Governor Shri R N Ravi-ji visited our farm and school in Govindaperi village, Tenkasi today. He saw our new natural farming initiatives and interacted with farmers, teachers and students. I had the pleasure of driving him around in my electric auto," the post read.
A vocal proponent of providing jobs to people in rural areas to prevent migration and overcrowding in large cities, the Padma Shri awardee Vembu has put the city of Tenkasi, best known for its temples and waterfalls, on the technology map of India.
Apart from the presence of a sprawling campus in Tenkasi, the company has taken up a number of other initiatives to promote sustainability, education and livelihood of the local population.
