The Mamaearth parent on Wednesday reported its December quarter results, with consolidated net profit at Rs 26 crore and revenue from operations up 6% on year at Rs 518 crore.
Alagh also said Honasa is scaling up the new distribution system and closed the previous quarter's inventory correction.
ET had reported that Mamaearth undertook a massive transition exercise for its general trade strategy, through which it is moving away from the current super stockist model to direct distributors. Due to this, the company took a beating in the September quarter, reporting a net loss of Rs 19 crore and a 7% on-year drop in operating revenue.
When asked if the company's margins will continue to be under pressure, Alagh said they are expected to normalise from Q1 FY26 onwards.
