President Murmu lauds govt's AI mission

President Droupadi Murmu, in her address to the Parliament at the start of Budget session, lauded the government's artificial intelligence (AI) mission, aimed at developing research and development.

The president outlined the government's vision to transform India into a global innovation powerhouse, with a strong focus on cutting-edge technologies.

She expressed confidence that India will soon launch its own human space flight, Gaganyaan.


In a significant move towards women’s financial and technical empowerment, President Murmu highlighted the ‘Drone Didi’ scheme, which provides women with training in drone technology, offering them new employment avenues in the agricultural and logistics sectors.
