PM Modi likely to meet Elon Musk during US visit: Report
Elon Musk may also seek early regulatory approval to begin operations for affordable satellite internet service Starlink in the country, along with boosting collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Modi is scheduled to be in the US from February 12 to 14 following an invitation from President Donald Trump. Musk is likely to be part of a select group of chief executives meeting the prime minister on February 13. The billionaire entrepreneur has long expressed interest in bringing Tesla to the Indian market.
Musk’s much-anticipated visit to India in April last year was postponed due to pressing commitments at Tesla.
However, there has been no official confirmation yet regarding the Modi-Musk meeting.
Last year, Musk had deferred his India visit, citing Tesla’s "moment of truth" amid negative growth in China and significant global layoffs.
He is also expected to push for early approval of Starlink’s operations in India. Strengthening ties with the Indian Space Research Organisation is likely to be another key agenda item.
Musk is now an advisor to Trump and head of the US Government’s newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
