After having sacked the entire top brass at the microblogging platform following his acquisition, Musk now wants to overhaul Twitter's user verification process.
According to a report in The Verge, Twitter is currently planning to charge $19.99 for the new Twitter Blue subscription. Under the current plan, verified users would have 90 days to subscribe or lose their blue checkmark.
Earlier on Sunday, Musk had tweeted: "The whole verification process is being revamped right now.”

Users would have to subscribe to Twitter Blue at $4.99 a month or lose their "verified" badges if the project moves forward, according to the report.
However, Musk has not made a final decision and the project could still be scrapped but according to Platformer it is likely that verification will become a part of Twitter Blue.
