OpenAI’s popular chatbot ChatGPT is facing a massive outage on both mobile and desktop.

Several users took to microblogging platform X (previously Twitter), stating that they were not able to access ChatGPT on Android smartphones and on the desktop.

Some users said they were not able to access their previous chats on ChatGPT amid the outage.

According to Downdetector, around 600 users reported issues with ChatGPT around 1 PM (IST). Around 270 users reported issues with the chatbot around 3 PM (IST).

Users globally have experienced several ChatGPT outages in the last few months. The chatbot faced an outage on December 14 last year.

The outage comes after OpenAI on Wednesday announced the launch of the GPT Store where people can share customized versions of the company’s chatbot.
