OpenAI's Altman says Musk offer is tactic 'to try to mess with us'
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman dismissed Elon Musk's offer to buy the nonprofit controlling OpenAI, calling it "ridiculous" and a tactic to disrupt the company. Altman firmly stated that OpenAI is not for sale while speaking at an AI summit in Paris.
"I have nothing to say. I mean, it's ridiculous," Altman said in the margins of an AI summit in Paris.
"The company is not for sale. It's another one of his tactics to try to mess with us," he said, speaking about Musk.
