The Karnataka Police has registered 347 FIRs in cases related to online betting and gambling since the calendar year 2023, Home Minister G Parameshwara told the assembly today.

There were 84 cases in 2023, 104 cases in 2024 and 159 cases in the first seven months. Among the districts, Ballary came top with 41 cases followed by Kolar at 26 cases and Bagalkot at 18 cases in the first seven months of this year.

The Home Minister furnished the figures in response to a question from Rajajinagar MLA S Suresh Kumar.
