Ola Electric Mobility’s general counsel Sanjit Nagarkatti joins ELP’s Bengaluru office as partner

Mumbai-headquartered full-service law firm Economic Laws Practice (ELP) appoints the former general counsel of Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. Sanjit Nagarkatti as a partner in its Bengaluru office.

An alumnus of Bangalore University from the 1991 batch, Nagarkatti started his career with United Breweries Ltd. and subsequently worked with companies including then Vodafone Essar Ltd.

In 2011, he joined Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. as director - legal & government affairs. He joined Syngenta India Ltd as lead counsel for South Asia and later joined Johnson & Johnson as legal director for medical devices in 2017. In 2020, he joined Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. as general counsel.

With the addition of Sanjit, the firm has 44 partners and about 220 lawyers across all the offices.
