Walmart-owned fashion ecommerce company Myntra’s app was down for a few hours from Sunday night until mid-morning on Monday.

Several users took to social media to note the development. Myntra responded saying it was upgrading its systems.

“Please be informed that we’re currently upgrading our system. Request you to cooperate with us for some time. We appreciate your valued patience and understanding,” Myntra customer care posted in response to a user tweet.

The app was back live at around 11 am on Monday.

Myntra is the biggest fashion ecommerce platform in India and competes with the likes of Reliance Industries’ Ajio and Nykaa Fashion.

Meanwhile, users on social media wondered if the app was hacked or if it was a marketing tick.

"Is this a glitch? If not, could have marketed the LIT a lil' better," tweeted a user.
