Micro loans, family health insurance part of Rapido Auto’s Bengaluru plans
Under its Auto Dost initiative, five lakh auto captains who are currently based out of Bengaluru city will be benefitted.

These measures are aimed at benefiting five lakh Rapido auto captains who are currently based out of Bengaluru city. It will ensure more flexibility to auto captains, the Bengaluru-headquartered firm said in a press statement.
Rapido announced six initiatives as part of its auto dost initiative. The company announced a normal pick-up charge of Rs 10 for every order, lowest commission structure, customer cancellation incentive of Rs 10 payable to the auto captain, a transparent fare pricing policy, a fare guarantee policy and captain cancellations.
Rapido cofounder Pavan Guntupalli said the new features reflected his company’s commitment to both auto captains and passengers. “These initiatives are a win-win for everyone involved. For our auto captains, they mean enhanced income and a more predictable earnings structure, allowing them to better plan for their future.”
Rapido Auto would in the coming months roll out a series of initiatives, including micro loans, travel time charge compensation and family health insurance. “These initiatives are strategically designed to empower Bengaluru's auto captains, fostering financial independence within the dynamic auto-rickshaw community,” the statement added.
