Meta or Facebook had not come out with a reason or statement behind the outage at the time of filing this report.

This is not the first time a Meta-owned platform has faced issues. Last month, Instagram and Facebook Messenger suffered a global outage, causing many people problems while trying to watch videos and send messages.

Multiple users faced issues while trying to send messages which then disappeared as soon as they were sent. Tinboxessue is mainly being flagged with the DM section of the Instagram app. Some users also reported trouble with their chat inboxes.
